Liahona is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS). Students may enroll in the accredited track or the non-accredited track. The non-accredited track relies on the student's portfolio and ACT or SAT score for
college entrance.

Tuition: Annual tuition is $1,530 for the full program of accredited classes for a student in any academic level. For the full program of non-accredited classes, annual tuition is $990. 3. What curriculum do you use and where do I get it?
We feel there is a great need for LDS curriculum for Junior High and High School students. To that end, we have written LDS academic text books for this year's course of study and continue the process of writing and publishing LDS academic text books for future classes. We also search for the best secular books. All classes are supplemented heavily with LDS writers and religious authorities and the standard works are used daily. Books are usually purchased through Liahona, and a booklist is provided each year. If a book is required that we do not have in stock, we will tell you the best place to obtain it.

6. How do I adjust Liahona to fit my student’s age, challenges, or strengths?
There are many different learning styles and each student's needs are different. Parents may adjust any assignment to better meet a student’s individual level and strengths. For example, if you feel an assignment is not challenging enough for your student, you may make the assignment more difficult. If you feel an assignment is above your student's level at this time, you may certainly change the requirements to best allow him to be successful in completing the assignment.
7. Who corrects my student’s homework assignments?
Tests, etc., are corrected in class so your student will correct his work along with his online class. Students enrolled in accredited classes email their scores and assignments to Liahona. The scores are then entered in the gradebook on the secure portion of our website. For students enrolled in non-accredited classes, parents correct homework and assign grades.
8. Can I start the Liahona program mid-year? If I've enrolled late, may I view classes from the beginning of the year?
Liahona will accept students mid-year. We are looking at the feasibility of having courses available on demand. However, please be aware that it can be overwhelming for a student to feel like they are trying to “catch up”. It is generally better for your student to begin wherever the Academy classes are in their studies. You as the parent can adjust the assignments to compensate for the missed material as your student is adjusting to the subjects and the program.
